Christmas Message from Fr. Larry Kondra, C.Ss.R.

Larry Kondra, C.Ss.R.

Wishing you and all those whom you hold dear, much peace, health, and hope during this Christmas season and a new year filled with the riches of God’s mercy!
Dear Confreres, Partners in Mission and Friends!
A brief yet heartfelt greeting to all on this eve of the Nativity of Our Lord! Please know that you are kept in fond and grateful remembrance for your prayerful, dedicated and generous support of our Redemptorist mission.
Many of you are aware that the inauguration of our new Canadian Redemptorist Province has been postponed. The current Provincials and their councils will remain in place for another 6 months or so. However, confreres from across Canada will meet in January in Toronto with time for greater reflection and preparation. Please continue to hold this in prayer.
Between my office and being part of The Welcome Home reality, I have discovered that the response to one need often opens the door to endless needs. It is being present to grace in the moment that is the constant invitation and challenge. As I read somewhere, “If God is not now-here, God is no-where.” May each of us be awake to the loving presence of God who is with us, has been with us and will always be with us!
Wishing you and all those whom you hold dear, much peace, health, and hope during this Christmas season and a new year filled with the riches of God’s mercy!
Христос Раждається! Christ is Born!
