Prayer to discern
one's path in life

Dear Lord,

You have sown your mark deep in my heart like an immense taste

of light and peace, of tenderness and joy, of welcoming and giving.

​

A trace like a light of hope in a world aching for happiness.
 

A trace like an inner voice telling me:
“If you want... come, I need you to be present in the world.”

​

Lord, send me your Spirit, so that it may inspire in me the madness of love

that enables me to follow Christ in the footsteps of Jesus Christ.

Inspire me to follow Christ in the footsteps of Saint Alphonsus de Liguori.

​

May your Spirit stimulate my boldness so that, strengthened by the talents you have given me,

I can build a better world with my brothers and sisters.

​

May your Spirit empower me to risk my life with you.

​
