It is with deep sorrow that the Canadian Province of the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer (Redemptorists) announces the passing of our beloved brother, Most.Rev. Peter Stasiuk, C.Ss.R., Eparch-Emeritus of Sts. Peter and Paul in Melbourne, Australia on August 13, 2025. He was 82 years old and had been a professed member of the Congregation for 62 years. He was ordained to the priesthood on August 28, 1962, and to the episcopate on March 9, 1993.

The funeral services for the blessed repose of +Bishop Peter Stasiuk, C.Ss.R. will be held as follows:

Thursday, August 21: Parastas at 7:00 p.m. at St. Joseph's Ukrainian Catholic Church, Winnipeg.

Friday, August 22: Requiem Divine Liturgy and Farewell at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Ukrainian Catholic Church, Winnipeg.

Following the services, his remains will be transferred to Australia for interment. The schedule of services and burial in Australia will be announced at a later date.
