Fr. Ako Trevor Walker C.Ss.R., will be presiding this year's Triduum (June 25-27, 2025) at St. Patrick’s Shrine Parish in downtown Toronto. Mass starts at 7 pm.
Throughout the three nights of mass, song and homilies in honour of our Mother of Perpetual Help, Fr. Ako, a Redemptorist, will speak about his ministry to Latino migrants at Sacred Heart/St Patrick’s parish, Baltimore where he is pastor.
In 2014, as a young seminarian, Fr. Ako preached for Devotions TV about how Mary, Mother of Jesus, guides his ministry to those most abandoned.
“Mary is the Mother of the oppressed, those unjustly treated by society and those pushed to the fringes because of their economic situation, their health status, their ethnicity and even their sexual orientation.“
This year’s Triduum homilies from Fr. Walker will be on RTV/Triduum by July 11, 2025. And they will be broadcast several times on VisionTV and Salt+LightTV over the coming years.
Mark your calendars and join us on June 25, 26, 27, 2025 and on her feast day on June 28, 2025!
And please, pass this poster and invitation to everyone in your networks. Whenever and wherever, we stand with the suffering and oppressed among us. And we appreciate Fr. Walker who comes to us from the front lines.
