As parishioners and visitors from across the city gathered in prayer and song, the three-day celebration became a beautiful opportunity to renew their trust in the loving care and intercession of Our Blessed Mother.

The celebrations were further enriched by the presence of Fr. Paul Vinh, C.Ss.R., and Fr. Ivel Mendanha, C.Ss.R., members of the Redemptorist General Government in Rome, who concelebrated the liturgies alongside the local Redemp - torist community during their Fraternal Visitation.

This year’s triduum preacher was Hieromonk Gregory Hrynkiw of the Monastery of the Three Holy Hierarchs in Prud’homme, Saskatchewan. Through his thoughtful and inspiring homilies, Fr. Gregory reflected on Mary’s unique place in God’s plan of salvation, reminding the faithful that she is not only the Mother of God but also the loving Mother of all who follow Christ. He encouraged the congregation to entrust themselves more fully to Mary’s maternal care, drawing on Scripture and the rich tradition of the Church to show how she continually leads her children to a deeper relationship with her Son. His reflections on Mary’s humility, compassion, and steadfast presence at the foot of the Cross invited all to welcome her more deeply into their daily lives and to grow in holiness through her example.
