The weekend of November 21–23, 2025 was anything but business as usual for Ignite Ministry and the Archdiocese of Toronto. On the weekend of the Feast of Christ the King, more than 700 young adults gathered for RENEW Toronto — a weekend of keynote talks, breakout sessions, Eucharistic celebrations, adoration and fellowship.

RENEW offers young adults a powerful encounter with the depth and richness of the Catholic faith. That breadth was visible not only in the programming, but in the many religious communities, ministries, education and formation opportunities present throughout the conference, each pointing to different ways young adults can continue to grow in faith and belonging.

Ignite Ministry was present as a diamond sponsor, with a booth at the heart of the gathering. From there, we witnessed young adults arrive as strangers — often nervous or unsure — and leave with new connections to one another, to the Church and God. As a community committed to nourishing people both physically and spiritually, Ignite was also honoured to sponsor the shared Saturday lunch, an expression of our call to hospitality and accompaniment.

Ignite Ministry’s presence throughout the conference — on screens, staff t-shirts, and in conference materials — reinforced a simple message: Ignite is here for young adults, and we want to be part of their lives beyond a single weekend. While gatherings like RENEW provide powerful “mountaintop” moments, Ignite exists to walk with young adults in the ongoing journey that follows, offering sustained community and intentional faith formation.

In a world often marked by fear and fragmentation, Ignite Ministry, rooted in the Redemptorist charism, offers another story — a story of hope, of community, of God’s love, of God’s Reign, of God’s plentiful redemption for them now and in the future. RENEW Toronto was a meaningful opportunity to share that story and continue proclaiming the Good News with, to and for young adults.
