Remembering Our War Veterans
Today is Remembrance Day, and as we honour the memory of those who fought bravely for freedom, and pay our respects to those who served and serve our country to ensure that others could live, we also remember 31 confreres of the former Redemptorist Province of Toronto who served as full-time chaplains in the three wars.

Adieu à la présence rédemptoriste à Edmonton
Au cours des dernières décennies, les Rédemptoristes ont consolidé leur présence dans la région d’Edmonton à la résidence Villa Marguerite, une aile de l’ancien Centre des Sœurs Grises, qui est finalement devenue une résidence de soins de longue durée pour les personnes ayant des troubles physiques et neurologiques.

Bidding farewell to our presence in Edmonton
Over the past few decades, the Redemptorists have consolidated their presence in the Edmonton area at the residence at Villa Marguerite, a wing of the old Grey Nuns Centre, which eventually became a long term care residence for people with physical and neuro-diverse challenges.

Un nouveau pasteur pour Grouard-McLennan
L’Archidiocèse de Grouard-McLennan a célébré un événement mémorable en octobre dernier, en rendant hommage à Mgr Charles Duval, C.Ss.R., qui lui succède comme nouvel Archevêque, et en faisant ses adieux à son Archevêque émérite, Mgr Gerard Pettipas, C.Ss.R., qui quitte désormais l’archidiocèse pour rejoindre ses confrères rédemptoristes à l’église Saint-Patrick de Toronto.

A new shepherd for Grouard-McLennan
The Archdiocese of Grouard-McLennan celebrated a most momentous occasion this past October, as they honoured the succession of Most Rev. Charles Duval, C.Ss.R. as their new archbishop, and offered one more fond farewell to their Archbishop Emeritus Gerard Pettipas, C.Ss.R., who is now leaving the archdiocese to live with his Redemptorist confreres at St. Patrick’s Church in Toronto.
