The Redemptorist Province of Canada recently welcomed three new people who will serve in various roles within the province.

Jason O’Rourke, Sean Bernard Tan, and Christine Caporusso join Marwan Al-Turk, Kathy McMerty

and Elora Garbutt at the Provincial Office in Toronto.

JASON O’ROURKE

Jason John O’Rourke is the new secretary for the Redemptorists of the Province of Canada. As a consummate support person, he’s developed his abilities over the last 25 years as an operations manager, a project leader and an entrepreneur. Jason holds a bilingual B.A. from Glendon College of York University, and thoroughly enjoys every opportunity he gets to work in both English and French. Jason brings with him a wealth of talent, experience, intelligence and kindness. As a creative thinker, he excels at problem solving, and is always looking to improve himself and any organization he associates with. SEAN BERNARD TAN

Sean Bernard Tan is the new Communications Coordinator for the Redemptorists of the Province of Canada. He is a recent graduate of the Inter- active Media Design programme of Seneca Polytechnic. Before joining the Redemptorists, he worked as an Administrative Assistant for Sacre-Coeur Parish in Downtown Toronto which is administered by the Dominican friars. Originally from the Philippines, Sean has worked with different public relations teams in the Philippines and Singapore. He has also worked with the Augustinian friars and the vocations office of the local Bishops Conference in the Philippines to improve their respective digital and print communication programmes and strategies. Since his arrival, Sean has been busy acquainting himself with the Redemptorists and in helping to make the website, vocation posters, newsletter, and social media pages of the province. CHRISTINE CAPORUSSO

Christine Caporusso is the new Associate Director for Ignite. With over 16 years of experience in event planning, stakeholder engagement, strategic communications, and 5 years as a certified Health and Life Coach, she brings a wealth of expertise to her role. Chris- tine integrates her corporate sector experience and coaching background into her current ministry work, using her skills to support spiritual growth and community engagement.
